Struggling Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao made a surprise appearance for the club’s U-21 team. The two-time Ballon d’Or nominee failed to score during the 1-1 draw against Tottenham in his first appearance for United’s second string during 72 minutes on the pitch before being substituted. Falcao has scored just four goals since joining United on loan in September from Monaco, making a permanent deal at the end of the season look less likely.
