Point guard Rajon Rondo had to sit out on Wednesday after being suspended one game by the Dallas Mavericks for conduct detrimental to the team, reported media from Dallas.
Rondo got into a verbal altercation with coach Rick Carlisle during the Mavericks 99-92 victory against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday and sat out for the game’s final 20 mintues.
The argument between coach and players stemmed from Rondo ignoring Carlilse play call during the Raptors game. Rondo has averaged nine points, 6.2 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in 25 games with the Mavericks this season.
