“Will chop off minister’s nose”

Members of Shree Rajput Karni Sena have threatened to chop off nose and ears of Rajasthan Higher Education Minister Kiran Maheshwari for comparing Rajputs with “rats”, if she didn’t “apologise”.
They also held a demonstration and burnt effigy of the minister in her constituency Rajsamand wherein hundreds of its activists raised anti-BJP slogans, its state president Mahipal Singh Makrana shared with media in India. At a media briefing when Maheshwari was reminded that Sarv Rajput Samaj Sangarsh Samiti started a campaign against the BJP, she said, “Aise bhi log hain jo barsaati chuhe hain, jo chunav aate hi bilon se nikal aatein hain.” (There are those kind of people who are like those rodents who come out only when it rains).
