Peel police are searching for a suspect after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a Brampton park on Tuesday night.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at Blue Lake Park near Bovaird Drive West and Chinguacousy Road.
The victim is in hospital with injuries that are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police say they are searching the area for one suspect, described as black and in his early teens who was wearing a grey short sleeve shirt, jeans and yellow shoes.
People are asked to avoid the park while police continue their search.
