Suspects Sought in Mississauga Shooting

Investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating male suspects involved in a shooting incident that occurred in Mississauga.

On Saturday February 22, 2020, at approximately 6:43 p.m., police responded to the area of Mavis Road and Britannia Road, in the City of Mississauga for reports of a male who had been shot in the parking lot of a local business.

The victim had already been driven to a local hospital by friends, hospital personnel made the decision to transport the victim to a Toronto trauma centre. Investigators learned that a struggle ensued between the victim and one of the suspects. The suspect brandished a firearm and the victim was shot. The victim underwent successful surgery and is recovering from his injuries.

The suspects left the scene in an older model 2 door dark coloured Honda Accord. The vehicle was last seen travelling eastbound through the parking lot and then proceeding eastbound on Britannia Road. Surveillance footage captured the suspects in a near by business, investigators believe that they are responsible for the shooting. The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect number 1 is described as male black, mid 20’s , 5’11” in height, medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap with LA on the front, brown puffy jacket, black pants, black and white running shoes.
  • Suspect number 2 is described as male white, mid 20’s, 5’11” in height, thin build. He was wearing a blue jacket, with fur hood, dark coloured pants and black shoes.
