Singer tags people who sleep on footpaths as DOGS

Salman Khan has been sentenced to five-year-imprisonment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in 2002-hit-and-run-case and the film fraternity has jumped in his support for the same, but showing his displeasure over the Mumbai Sessions court’s verdict playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has made some outrageous remarks.

The singer took to Twitter to make these offensive comments for those poor people who sleep on roads. He has frankly termed those people as dogs and found nothing wrong from Salman’s side in being overly drunk and crushing five people under his speeding car which killed one and left four others severely injured.

He made a series of tweets to express his unnecessary disappointment over the court’s verdict.

“Roads are meant for cars and dogs not for people sleeping on them.. @BeingSalmanKhan is not at fault at all..@arbaazSkhan @sonakshisinha,” said Abhijeet in his first post.

He went even more offensive in his next tweet saying, “Kutta rd pe soyega kutte ki maut marega, roads garib ke baap ki nahi hai I ws homles an year nvr slept on rd @BeingSalmanKhan @sonakshisinha.”
Abhijeet also mocked poor people for leaving their villages and coming to Mumbai to sleep on roads.

“Mumbai ke road Aur footpath pe sone ka shauk hai ?? Y not at your village no vehicles to kill u.. Support @BeingSalmanKhan @sonakshisinha,” added the singer.

He gave example of 80 percent of film industry people who were homeless and struggling but they never slept on footpaths. He also claimed that as suicide is a crime, sleeping on footpaths is also the same.

“Suicide is crime so is sleeping on footpath..80% homeles film ppl strugld achievd stardom but never slept on footpath @BeingSalmanKhan,” concluded Abhijeet.
