Sikh thrashed in suspected hate attack in Birmingham

Police in Birmingham are investigating an attack on a Sikh man that was captured on video and posted online.The blurred footage shows the unidentified Sikh man covering his face as he is surrounded by a gang, and one man rains punches and kicks on him.A crowd is gathered around the man, but no one helps him. The attack took place on Broad Street in Birmingham.A poster on the `Daily Sikh Updates’ Facebook page said, “How many against one? No one there had the courage to step in. Shame on all the people that stood and watched.“Police have urged the victim to come forward and are investigating claims the attack was religiously motivated, the Birmingham Mail reported.
