Shusmita Sharma announces her candidature to stand for City Council, Ward 7 in Markham

Shusmita Sharma is standing as a candidate for Ward 7 in Markham.  With the right credentials and background, she has been very active in volunteerism and community work since her pre-teen days.  As a strong and hard-working individual, she has overcome various personal life challenges to survive.  The high achiever and honour roll student Initiated a non-profit organization at a young age and raised $14,000 for Hospital for Sick Children by organizing a dance competition.  She has raised thousands of dollars for charity for several organizations including Markham Stouffville Hospital and has extensively volunteered with the Markham Mayor’s Youth Task Force as well as other organizations, religious institutions, etc
