At the end of a long winter and cool spring, the arrival of summer brings the return of the much anticipatedcolourful celebration, Rung De One.
RuchikaGhai who attended last year says, “Rung De One was too much fun. Our whole family had such an amazing time that we just can’t wait for this year. The event was so well organized. The food, music and entertainment were all great. It reminded us of being back in India without paying for the airfare. We have already bought our tickets for this year.”
Bringing people together in a colourful celebration of oneness, Rung De One happens this year on June 14 at the Great Punjab Open Grounds with tickets priced at $20 which includes free colour, a snack combo, DJs, dance performances amongst other entertainment. Organizers are taking all measures to ensure attendees get their money’s worth at this celebration which is like none other. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.rungdeone.com/
Last year’s event was attended by then counsellor and now Mayor of Mississauga the Honourable Bonnie Crombie who spend time interacting with attendees and enjoying the festivities in spite of having a very busy schedule.
Inspired by the spirit of the Indian festival of Holi, Rung De One is acolourful and interactive event to rejoice in oneness and embrace the warmth of summer with family and friends. You don’t have to dress to impress or worry about styling your hair. Come in your whites, wear your attitude and Rung De One will colour it for you.
Welcome the summer with a splash of colours at Rung De One!
