Ragaa : A showcase of technology and grooming

One of India’s leading Bollywood  fashion show director, international renowned model/beauty pageant grooming expert, celebrity show host and now a bollywood film maker—Kaushik Ghosh has choreographed around  1800 prestigious fashion shows , beauty contests, men contests  all over the world for leading international and Indian fashion brands, top designers, international and Indian organizations like-World Bank, UNICEF, United Nations, Indian Army, Indian Navy featuring India’s top fashion models, supermodels, Miss India’s ,fashion week models and bollywood stars. Kaushik Ghosh also organized and produced fashion shows for top fashion schools like NIFT, Pearl Academy Of Fashion, International Institute of Fashion Technology-(IIFT), International Polytechnic for Women and many others. And now he is working with the participants of Ragaa South Asian Canada Awards and beauty pageant scheduled to be held in Toronto on July 11’2014.  In an exclusive conversation with The Weekly Asian Connections, Kaushik Ghosh expressed that North America especially Canada has a lot to offer to Bollywood and the Indian fashion industry and it’s an abode of the most beautiful and talented people and various Ragaa shows have done a great deal by providing a strong platform to highly talented people in GTA and all over Canada.

Kaushik has worked with India’s leading supermodels, actors from Indian film and television industry, but he cherishes working with newcomers, “For me working with a newcomer is very challenging and I love to take this great challenge,” said Kaushik Ghosh.  “That’s how I have mentored a number of newcomers who are now among the leading models, bollywood stars and Television and reality show stars. A number of them have not only been discovered but also groomed and launched by me,” added Kaushik. Highlighting the qualities required to be a successful model he said, “One of the most important quality to be successful as an actor or as a model is to be very down to earth, at the same time remain warm, friendly with a no nonsense attitude”.

Talking of the equation he shares with Saravpreet Minhas, Kaushik said, “I share a very strong bonding with Saravpreet Minhas for last 5 years, its because he knows and understands my sense of professionalism and he works accordingly.”

When asked about the qualities he likes in his models or actors, Kaushik said, “He /She needs to be loyal, dedicated, hardworking, warm and above all a good human being.” And he is all excited about the event being organized on July 11, “We have used lots of technology and people will like the complete style of presentation and the way I have groomed all the participants.”
