asian3 asian2Toronto — Yesterday, Premier Kathleen Wynne hosted her 10th Annual Eid Bazaar and Community Fair in her home riding of Don Valley West.

“It is an honour and a privilege for me to join with the Muslim community to witness the fasting, self-sacrifice and great charity that characterize Ramadan,” said Premier Wynne. “I would invite Ontarians of all faiths and cultural backgrounds to come together to share in the blessings of this holy month.”

After the community fair, Premier Wynne hosted an Iftar dinner for Muslim leaders and stakeholders. This was the latest in a series of over 30 Ramadan events in which Ontario Liberal MPPs have participated across Ontario–in communities including Newmarket, Kingston, Vaughan, Mississauga, Kitchener, Brampton, Scarborough, Markham, Brant, Ajax, Ottawa, and Toronto–to celebrate friendship and community and to recognize the contributions of Muslim Ontarians to our province’s economic, social, and cultural success.
