Toronto—Premier Kathleen Wynne and the Ontario Liberal Caucus hosted Consul General of Pakistan Asghar Ali Golo and over 120 other guests at Queen’s Park yesterday at a reception to mark Pakistan ‘s Independence Day.

“On this 68th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, Ontario Liberals are honoured to celebrate with friends and neighbours of Pakistani descent in Ontario and across Canada,” Premier Wynne said. “Pakistani-Canadians have made significant contributions to Ontario’s social, cultural, and economic life. I want to wish all those celebrating a happy Pakistan Independence Day.”
