The award show’s host Neil Patrick Harris sang, danced and even sprinted in his underpants, ala Birdman, as he performed through the night. However, the 41-year-old actor did not have a memorable night apart from a few, “brief” moments. The How I Met Your Mother star did not receive good reviews. Jeff Gelberg wrote on Twitter, “If #NealPatrickHarris has funny jokes in that briefcase, he might want to think about opening it. Two hours ago. #Oscars (sic)”.
