BJP opposed GST for 7 years: Cong

The Congress has hit back at the Modi government on the GST bill, saying the BJP was again trying to claim ownership of key reform measure even after having “obdurately opposed it for more than seven years“. After being blamed by Arun Jaitley for delay in passage of the bill, the Congress accused the finance minister of bringing the country to deflation mode by his “continued mismanagement“.
