“Modi can fool even God,” Lalu

RJD chief Lalu Prasad mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pre-poll package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore for Bihar and called the PM a “madaari who can fool even God” at a convention of Vaishyas -trading community, hitherto seen as the vote bank of BJP. The meet was seen as RJD-JD(U)-Congress combine’s answer to BJP’s bid to wean away dalits and EBCs from them.
“Modi has only one quality of fooling people. He can fool every one. He can befool even God,” Lalu said in his address.  He challenged the Modi government to give proof of one promise fulfilled by it in the 15 months of its tenure. Lalu said the special package was nothing new, rather it was repackaging (of old projects) done by Modi to dupe simple people. He forgot Bihar for 15 months, but as the state assembly election was approaching, he announced this special package to get political mileage. “For next three months he will keep talking about this package. Let the regular budget be prepared in February, then all his promises will vanish in air.”
