Loaded Gun Seized During Traffic Stop

Uniform patrol officers from 22 Division have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man with numerous firearm related offences.

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted near Clark Boulevard and Rutherford Road South in the City of Brampton.

Further investigation led to police seizing a loaded Glock 19 semi-automatic firearm and a quantity of Methamphetamine. Jammarre Miller, a 27-year-old man from Brampton was arrested and charged with: unauthorized possession of a firearm;  knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm; possession of a loaded prohibited firearm; careless storage of a firearm; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; possess firearm with altered serial number; occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm; unauthorized possession of a prohibited device; possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Jammarre Miller was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 3, 2020.
