A top official of the IPL has quit. Ankit Baldi, who was handling the operations and logistics departments of the league, has resigned. He was directly reporting to IPL COO Sundar Raman. Baldi, who was virtually the second in command in the IPL operations, was one of the witnesses in the Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia spat at the Wankhede last year.

A Board of Control for Cricket in India official said it was a normal career move by a young professional and there is nothing unusual about it.
