Injured Chigumbura to miss Ireland tie

Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura has a left leg injury and won’t play in his team’s next Cricket World Cup match against Ireland at Bellerive Oval on Saturday. Team officials said Chigumbura sustained a muscle tear in his quadriceps while fielding in Zimbabwe’s 20-run loss to Pakistan last Sunday. Chigumbura tripped while attempting a diving stop as he attempted to cut off a boundary in the outfield.
