BRAMPTON, ON – Today, Conservative candidate Ninder Thind celebrated the grand opening of the Brampton West Conservative campaign office. A large crowd gathered at 25 Van Kirk Drive in Brampton to hear candidate Ninder Thind reaffirm her commitment to the big issues, the issues that affect all Canadians: the economy and our country’s security.

“I am confident that history will repeat itself on October 19th. I know this because only our Conservative government has proven time and time again that we have the interests of all Canadians at heart,” Thind told the crowd.

Community leaders, local Members of Parliament and candidates were all in attendance, out to show their support for the Brampton West team, including Halton MP Lisa Raitt.

“It is my pleasure to be here today to show my support for Ninder Thind in Brampton West. I look forward to working with another strong female leader in Ottawa and I applaud her devotion to her community.” – Lisa Raitt, M.P.

“Having served Brampton West for four years, I know that Ninder is the best option for representing the needs of Bramptonians in this new riding. I wholeheartedly support her candidacy and look forward to working with her to serve the people of Brampton in my role as the new member for Brampton South.” – Kyle Seeback, M.P.

Born in the GTA and raised in Peel, Ninder has extensive experience within her local community in Brampton. She has been recognized for her dedication and commitment while serving in a variety of professional roles, including that of a school Principal, a representative for high-risk families at the Region of Peel, and served as Chief of Staff to Member of Parliament Parm Gill.

Ninder currently resides in Peel with her family and is a proud mother of 10 year old son Gurjaap.

“As a mother, I am proud of our Conservative government’s introduction and enhancement of the Universal Child Care Benefit. Only Prime Minister Stephen Harper will continue to put money back in the pockets of every single Canadian family so that they can spend it on their own child care priorities – because as moms and dads, we know best,” Thind said.
