The TTC is investigating after an unmanned bus was seen coasting in the Bathurst Station bus bay on Tuesday night.

The driver had left the bus unattended while he went to the washroom, a TTC spokesman said. Normally, the protocol is to apply the parking brake, which prevents the bus from moving.

The vehicle started moving and eventually bumped into one of the TTC’s cube vans.

No one was injured. The bus and the vehicle had minor damage. There’s no word yet from the transit authority on possible disciplinary action.
