DIL DHADAKNE DO CREATES PRICELESS MOMENT WITH MASTERCARD® FOR MOTHERS

This Mother’s Day, when the world was brimming with love for their mothers and making the day special in their own ways, the team of upcoming Bollywood film “Dil Dhadakne Do” teamed up with MasterCard® to make the day extra special for one mother Mrs Nirmali Hazarika. The surprise was orchestrated with the help of Mrs Hazarika’s son Joydip, who wanted to express his gratitude for the years of selfless hard work his mother had put in to single-handedly raise him and his sister.

We all know that a family has all the elements of love and friction – more than evident from the trailer of “Dil Dhadakne Do” , which is based on the story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family that takes a cruise together that proves to be a turning point in their family relationship.

But it is the mother that forms the nucleus and binds them together. To honour her selfless service to the family day after day, MasterCard® and Dil Dhadakne Do decided to honour one such mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day 2015.

The Mother’s Day surprise for Mrs Hazarika turned sweeter when the ravishing diva Priyanka Chopra dropped by and surprised them with an all-expenses paid 3 night trip to Turkey. Moments such as these are truly priceless. Prior to the Mother’s Day surprise, Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of the son in “Dil Dhadakne Do”, had uploaded a teaser video of the Mother’s Day contest. The actor took the opportunity to thank the hero of the contest — Mothers — and how the request of Joydip stood out from all the other applications.
