Daughter Pooja reacts to Kabir Bedi’s fourth wedding

Bedi married four times and had three children, Pooja, Siddharth

and Adam. He was married Protima Bedi, an Odissi dancer. Their daughter

Pooja Bedi is a magazine/newspaper columnist. Their son, Siddharth, who

went to Carnegie Mellon University in the USA, had a long history

of schizophrenia and committed suicide in 1997 at the age of 26.As his

marriage with Protima began to break down he famously started a relationship

with Parveen Babi. They never married. He later married British-born fashion

designer Susan Humphreys. Their son, Adam Bedi is an international model

who made his Hindi Film debut with the thriller, Hello? Kaun Hai!. This

marriage ended in divorce.In the late 1990s, Bedi married TV and radio

presenter Nikki Bedi.They had no children and divorced in 2005. After that,

Kabir Bedi has been in a relationship with British born Parveen Dusanj

When the news hit that legendary actor Kabir Bedi and his daughter Pooja Bedi don’t

share a good rapport and the credit goes to none other than Kabir’s newly-wed wife

Parveen Dusanj, bollywood lovers were more in shock after having felt the ripples that

Kabir Bedi had got married for the fourth time. Kabir ringed in his 70th birthday and

also got hitched to long-time partner Parveen Dusanj.

Pooja Bedi and some other family members were not present for the celebrations. She

didn’t take her father’s marriage well and expressed her displeasure. She clearly showed

that Parveen and her relations had never been good. Calling Parveen wicked, she wrote,

“Every fairy tale has a wicked witch or an evil step-mother! Mine just arrived!

@iKabirBedi just married @parveendusanj.” However, she later realised that this could

damage her equation with Kabir even more and deleted the comment. She further wrote,

“Deleted the last tweet on my dad @iKabirBedi 4th marriage. Let’s keep things positive. I

Wish him the best !!!”

Reacting to Pooja’s comments, Kabir Bedi lashed her on his account and

wrote, “DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED by venomous comments by my daughter

Pooja against @parveendusanj just after we married. NO excuse for bad

behaviour.” Reportedly, Pooja confessed that she hasn’t been on good terms

with Kabir and could have sorted things out years ago, but things didn’t

work out.
