Chalo! FreshCo opens its newest location in Peel Region

The fourth Chalo! FreshCo location has opened its doors in Brampton, welcoming customers with grand opening celebrations including samosa, chai, Bollywood music and dancing. Grand opening deals and exciting food sampling are underway at the new location at 8405 Financial Drive, north of Steeles Avenue in Brampton.

The new location will be managed by store operator and franchisee John Kendrick. His team of more than 100 employees are thrilled to open the new store in this growing community.

“The grand opening celebrations and deals will continue into the weekend,” said John Kendrick, franchisee, Financial Drive Chalo! FreshCo. “We invite our new neighbours and local families to come check out the store, our great prices, and broad product offering which includes a wide range of South Asian fresh and grocery products. Once customers see the amazing variety and unbeatable value, we know they will say ‘Vah!’ and come back for more!”

To keep the celebrations going into the weekend a Bollywood dance performance will take place on Saturday, March 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. and a Halal Food Truck will be on site over the weekend offering free samples to customers.

The first 500 customers received a free pack of 18 eggs and throughout opening week shoppers who spend 50 dollars or more will receive a coupon for five dollars off their next visit to Chalo! FreshCo.

Chalo! FreshCo now has four stores in Peel Region – three stores in Brampton and one in Mississauga. Chalo! FreshCo lowers food prices, everyday. The stores offer an exciting wide variety of South Asian products including halal meat, non-halal meat and fresh seafood counters. The store also includes an in-store pharmacy where customers can fill their prescriptions while they shop.

The grand opening excitement will continue through the week, with ongoing specials, food sampling and in-store demos. In celebration of the opening, Chalo! FreshCo has also donated $500 to the Seva Food Bank, a local food bank in Peel region.

Chalo! FreshCo is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
