Ontario is inviting families and people of all ages to celebrate Canada Day with live performances, rides and entertainment on the front lawn of Queen’s Park – all for free.
The annual celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Visitors can:
- Learn how to juggle, spin a hula hoop or build a rocket ship
- Watch performances by Anishnaabe dance artist, Nimkii Osawamick and Beatbox Champion, Scott Jackson
- Meet performers from Circus Canada and characters from The Jungle Book Circus
- Learn the art of puppetry
- Enjoy face painting, crafts, midway rides and more.
Admission is free and festivities run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the official opening and 21-gun salute beginning at noon.
A free water refill station is available for everyone who brings their own reusable water bottle.
