Brampton Library is honoured to be recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport as a winner of its Ontario Public Library Service Award, the Angus Mowat Award of Excellence. “Brampton Library created its Newcomer Bus Tours to attract newcomers outside our branches with specially-designed programs that lead to settlement success. We are pleased also to extend congratulations to Kingston Frontenac Public Library, our co-recipient for this prestigious award,” said Brampton Library CEO Rebecca Raven.
Also at the awards evening, Brampton Library’s Director of Service Delivery Rebecca Jones was awarded the Ontario Library Boards’ Association W. J. Robertson Medallion for demonstrating outstanding leadership in the advancement of public library service in Ontario. “We stretch ourselves every day to delight the people of Brampton with the best services, programs, spaces and products for learning, exploring and just plain enjoyment. It’s a privilege and pleasure,” said Jones.

In the spirit of public service and community support, Brampton Library is pleased to confirm that all seven of its locations are open Family Day, Monday, February 15th, 10am to 5:00pm featuring:
