BJP planning to Arrest Kejriwal to relieve Sushma!

Calling ‘likely’ chargesheets against 21 AAP MLAs a plant from the BJP-led Union government, Aam Aadmi Party has accused the Narendra Modi-led government of diverting attention from Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s alleged involvement in the controversy surrounding former IPL chief Lalit Modi.
Though Delhi Police has denied reports that it is that it is preparing chargesheet against 21 AAP MLAs, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said he has no knowledge of chargesheets being filed against AAP MLAs.
As per leading dailies from India, the Delhi Police intends to speed up the legal process in a large number of cases pending against Arvind Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia. Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, deputy speaker Bandana Kumari, transport minister Gopal Rai, and 17 other AAP legislators. The list also includes former law minister Somnath Bharti, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Rakhi Birla who have also had a rough relationship with the Delhi police.
This is also the first occasion when any single party’s 21 MLAs are facing cases against them. The development comes after former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar’s arrest in the fake-certificate case.As per reports, Kejriwal alone is facing as many as 47 charges in 15 cases pending against him in different police stations. The charges range from causing voluntarily hurt to deter public servants from discharging their duties, obstructing public servants from performing their job, rioting and defamation cases.
The ruling party in Delhi claimed that the timing of the news is suspect. “To divert attention from Sushma,story of 21 AAP MLAs to be arrested,is planted by Modi government,” senior AAP leader Ashutosh said on Twitter. “An editor told me they are under tremendous pressure to move away from Sushma as its now hurting those in BJP who wanted to fix Sushma,” he said in an another tweet.
