Supermodel-turned-Bollywood actor Milind Soman won India’s Iron man title after successfully completing Triathlon competition in Zurich, Switzerland. The triathlon competition is known to be the toughest races in the world. At least 2,000

Participants including seven Indians participated in the triathlon 2015. The competition includes a 3.8-km swim, a 180.2-km cycle ride and 42.2-km run. It does not allow the participants to take a break. All participants need to complete the entire process within 16 hours to win the title of ‘Ironman’. 50-year old Milind Soman completed the triathlon in 15 hours and 19 minutes.

After winning the title, Milind Soman was quoted as saying, “If you are sufficiently aware and monitor your body’s response at every stage in terms of nutrition and pace, it will all come together.I wanted to gift myself something special in my 50th year and I am glad I could do this,” he added while speaking to a leading Indian TV channel. The supermodel has been practising for the event for many months
