Arrests made in Drug investigation, Warrant executed

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of three arrests made in a drug investigation.

Officers from the West Command Gun Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) applied for two CDSA search warrants for addresses associated to a man believed to be trafficking narcotics.

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, officers from the GVSU, 31 Division Major Crime Unit and 31 Division Community Response Unit officers executed one of the warrants at a residential high-rise building located in the Bremner Boulevard and York Street area.

It is alleged that the following items were seized:
– Two firearms
– 250 grams of Cocaine, Heroin and Fentanyl
– large amounts of Canadian currency

Hassan Mujynya-Kassem, 19, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with: careless storage of a firearm; possess loaded regulated firearm; possess restricted or prohibited firearm without holding a license and registration certificate, possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly without holding a license and registration certificate, possess prohibited device; possession of property obtained by crime under; fail to comply with recognizance and three counts of possession of schedule i for purpose of trafficking

Wilson Torres, 21, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:  careless storage of a firearm;possess loaded regulated firearm; possess restricted or prohibited firearm without holding a license and registration certificate; possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly without holding a license and registration certificate; possess prohibited device; possession of property obtained by crime over and three counts of possession of schedule (i) for purpose of trafficking

oOtoy duff, 22, of toronto, was arrested and charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under; Four counts of Possession of Schedule I for Purpose of Trafficking. They were scheduled to appear in court on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Old City Hall, 60 Queen Street West, in room 101.
