In 2012, he had a tryst with Punjab during the shoot of Son Of Sardaar. And now, Ajay Devgn will travel to the state again for his next, to be directed by Milan Luthria, with whom he has earlier worked in films such as Kachche Dhaage (1999) and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010). Interestingly, the film’s music will include local influences from cities across the state like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Bhatinda and Jalandhar. Apparently, Milan was keen to add a folk touch from each of the cities in its unique way, and he got full support from his co-producer, Bhushan Kumar.
“Milan’s idea is to give the audience the local flavour of Punjab, right from the folk music, which plays an integral part of the film, to the local musicians of the state,” a source close to the Unit has been quoted by a leading daily from India.
