A Hug in the Mug

What is the kick start of every morning? What is something that you start your day with? The ubiquitous answer is – Coffee. Indeed, our morning broaches with coffee. Coffee is something magical. Coffee is a kick. Coffee is healing. It is a liquid hug, in the mug.

It keeps the home awake. We find our homes powered by love but fuelled by coffee. This liquid wisdom fosters a bit of joy and spreads love. It is the gasoline of joy that keeps us going in the fast driven life. It is a sweet balm by which we accomplish tasks. Our sleep is broken when the coffee has spoken. Every morning we need it, long to hold it, wish to have its warmth, aroma and taste. It’s the best thing to douse the sunrise with.

It’s a freshly ground heaven which embarks the cup of ambition. A cup of coffee in the morning may pack more than just an energy boost. With hundreds of proven benefits it is an antioxidant, helps you burn fat, fights depression, lower the risk of diabetes and makes you smarter. It puts you in a better mood. And sometimes all you need is a cup of warm coffee.

No party, no gathering and no trivial talk seem complete without coffee. Coffeegeeks exclaim “No talkie, before coffee” .  People judge restaurants by the taste of coffee. Coffee, a liquid seduction, makes a love date successful.  Apart from morning, noon and evenings also crave for coffee. A yawn marking a silent scream for coffee and coffeegeeks voice “Oh look its coffee o’clock”.  It makes frequent brawls depart, repels the prism of pessimism and while melancholic it embraces, it does not ask silly questions, it understands. A good coffee is always a pleasure. Everything gets better with it.

Coffee is ridiculed by those who are naturally coarse in their nervous sensibilities. Infact, it is the beverage of the intellectual. It is an imaginary voyage navigating through normality. Candidly one can proclaim “Where there is a coffee there’s hope.”
