Police Release Picture of an AED Theft Suspect

Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating a theft that occurred in the City of Mississauga. 

On Friday, December 28, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. the suspect was on the premises of a bus terminal at 200 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga. The suspect approached a ticket booth advising a person in the parking lot was in cardiac arrest and required an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). He then removed the AED from the AED cabinet and fled.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 years old, thin build, unshaven, wearing a white beanie with red writing, a blue backpack, white shoes and a grey coat. 

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who may have information concerning this investigation to contact 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453-2121 Ext 1233.
