No heroine for Abhishek in Anurag Basu’s next

Anurag Basu’s next directorial venture, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, went on floors last month. The anthology, which comprises four stories, boasts of an ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Aditya Roy Kapur. The filming kick-started with AB Junior’s story.
The Manmarziyaan actor’s part is different from that of everyone else. “Abhishek doesn’t have a heroine opposite him in the film. In fact, his is the only segment in the anthology that doesn’t have a romantic angle. He has shot some portions in Kolkata and will resume work now that he’s back from his holiday to Goa with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya,” a leading daily from India quoted its source as saying.
