Brampton, ON – With today’s launch of the “Future Ready Brampton” public engagement campaign,
the City is asking residents to think bigger about what the city should look like in five, 10, 25 years and
beyond.
The City is developing a vision to set Brampton apart from other suburban cities and to position it as a
hub for jobs and innovation, a sustainable future city, and one that people are proud to call home. That
vision, set to be presented in spring 2018, will be a reflection of feedback and ideas from residents and
businesses across Brampton.
How to get involved:
We’re thinking bigger about our brilliant future – but to really be successful, we need our residents’
bright ideas. There are a number of ways to get involved between now and October 31, when
engagement wraps up:
 Visit www.brampton.ca/futureready to share your bright ideas or vote for ideas that have already
been submitted.
 Chat with the City street teams at events and locations throughout Brampton this fall. Event
listing can be found at www.brampton.ca/futureready
 Email brightideas@brampton.ca, or send questions and comments via direct message to the
City’s Twitter or Facebook
