From the Police Desk – Witnesses Sought in Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a motor vehicle that occurred in Brampton.

On Monday August 22, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m., a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and vehicle occurred on Ebenezer Road and Highway 50 in Brampton.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist, a 36 year-old male from Bolton was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle a 30 year-old male from Brampton was subsequently rushed to a Trauma Centre suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or who may have information about the actions of the drivers prior to the collision.
