Zee TV, the most loved South Asian TV network has taken another bold step to air a localized fiction show based on the real lives of South Asian immigrants in USA. The show called “Jackson heights” is an emotional drama which beautifully highlights the struggles & follows the lives of South Asians living in New York City to make a living. It’s a beautiful story of love, relation, friendship and hardships. The story revolves around four characters – a restaurant owner, a taxi driver, an aesthetician working at a local salon & a fresh off the boat South Asian – who are trying their best to cope with life in New York. The show explores their lives and struggle for survival in a foreign land without a family to fulfill their dreams and desires.
