A 30-year-old woman along with her minor children allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a reservoir at Isrol village in Barmer district.
The bodies were recovered in the wee hours of Wednesday. The husband of the deceased is a labourer.
Police suspect it to be a case of suicide over a family dispute while the woman’s parents filed an FIR in Chohtan Thana against her in-laws alleging physical and mental torture.
The woman might have thrashed her sons one by one and then jumped into the reservoir which is about 17-feet deep, located at a deserted place near Isrol village, police said.
