Why did Nawazuddin Siddhiqui “undergo” a DNA test?

Talented actor Nawazuddin Siddhiqui has shared a very impactful video at the time when India is torn between religious faiths and beliefs.

The video shows Nawaz holding different placards that reads, “Hi, I am Nawazuddin Siddiqui.I had got my DNA test done and when the report came in, I found that I am 16.66 % Hindu, 16.66 % Muslim, 16.66 % Sikh, 16.66 % Christian, 16.66 % Buddhist, and 16.66 % all the other religion in the world.”

The video does not stop there. Further, he talks about discovering his soul. “When I discovered ‘My Soul,’ I found that I am A 100% Artist.” The video was directed by his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. 

Recently, Sonu Nigam’s tweet about morning azaan created a lot of hullaballoo. The singer objected over the use of microphones at religious places. 

On the professional front, Nawazuddin will next be seen playing the titular character of ‘Manto’ in the film directed by Nandita Das.
