Warrant of Arrest Issued for Attempted Murder

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau obtained an arrest warrant for a male suspect in relation to a shooting incident in the City of Brampton.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Andre MARTIN, a 32 year-old resident of the Greater Toronto Area, in relation to a shooting incident that took place on Sunday June 4, 2017 in the area of Ebenezer Road and The Gore Road in the City of Brampton. 

Andre MARTIN is described as male, black, 32 years of age, 5’11” in height, 170 pounds with a thin build, he has a small tattoo on his left cheek, and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Investigators believe that MARTIN is to be considered armed and dangerous, having recent possession of a handgun. If MARTIN is seen, he is not to be approached and police should be called immediately via 9-1-1.        

Peel Police has issued a picture of MARTIN and is asking community to come forward if anyone has information regarding the location of Andre MARTIN, or this investigation, is asked to contact investigators at the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 2133.
