“Walk for Values” was first started in Toronto by the students of Sathya Sai School in 2003 viewing the violence, drugs and crime in certain streets of Malvern area. It has now become a Canadian National and International Event held in over 60 Cities around the World including Ottawa, Toronto, Kingston, Regina, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Fort McMurray and Vancouver.

What is Walk for Values?

Celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday and the Walk for Values 15th anniversary, this event is the perfect way to showcase Canada’s great unity and diversity in our multicultural society.  In light of our countries great history, we would like to honor our fallen soldiers, as such the Walk for Values team has partnered with the Royal Canadian Legion to pay tribute to all our fallen soldiers who dedicated their lives to protecting and upholding our countries values and its people.  On May 28th we also ask that you come and help us honor these brave men and women as the Royal Canadian Legion open up our event with a special ceremony called Act of Remembrance which is a special memorial dedication service performed by our Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command that will be accompanied by our kids of the Sathya Sai school.  We have to continue to live in peace and unity with one another and continue to be the example that the world needs.  Join us on May 28 at Nathan Phillips Square to walk in our great city and spread the message of Human Values

Unlike other major events, this is not a fund-raiser.  There is no solicitation of pledges for money. Rather, you will make the world richer and healthier by pledging your commitment to making our families and communities more loving and peaceful by practicing five universal values: Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Nonviolence.
