American singer Meghan Trainor has said that opting for a vocal chord surgery was the biggest setback for her. The 21-year-old All About That Bass hitmaker, who made an appearance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently, said she was nervous before coming on stage. “It was a big slap in the face. I have to be more strict and try not to get sick. You gotta learn and try to be healthy,” said Trainor. She added that she can now feel when she is stressing too much on her vocal chords. “I’m more aware of my voice. I know when I’m using it too much, and I know when I’m like, ‘We’re gonna not talk’,” she said.
