‘Toliet-Ek Prem Katha’ enters 100 crore club

Finally, the dark shadow hovering over the ticket counter has ended with the box-office record of ‘Toliet-Ek Prem Katha’. On the eight day, the film has entered the 100 crore mark. For the last few months, Bollywood movies have failed to do good business but ‘Toliet-Ek Prem Katha’ has been able to bring the good days back.

The film is Akshay Kumar’s eighth film to have cross the 100 crore mark. He holds the second position after Salman Khan to have  croseds the 100 crore mark.

Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Toliet-Ek Prem Katha’ sends social message of building toilets at home and totally avoid open defacation. The plot is inspired from PM Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Campaign’. The movie directed by Shree Narayan Singh also features Anupam Kher in the pivotal role. The Indian audience welcomed the movie based on lack of toilets in rural area with open heart. The film hits the theatres on August 11.
