Three Firearms Seized and an Arrest Made in Brampton Shooting

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a male in relation to a shooting in the City of Brampton.

On Tuesday March 13, 2018 at approximately 12:48 a.m. Peel Regional Police responded to a call at a residence in the area of Fleetwood Crescent and Bramalea Road in Brampton. Police located the victim, a 36 year-old male of Brampton, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Ryan SUAREZ, a 24 year-old male from Brampton, was arrested for Attempted Murder. A .22 caliber handgun was recovered and seized.

21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau executed a search warrant on a vehicle associated to SUAREZ, and located a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun, a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, and ammunition.

Ryan SUAREZ was charged with Attempted Murder and numerous firearms related offences. He appeared for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
