With falling TRP, and two old already aired shows were put on air by Sony TV giving rise to speculations that The Kapil Sharma Show could be going off air. Not only the declining television rating is the reason for the show to go-air but it is said that Kapil’s ill-health and frequent cancel of the show affected the show’s popularity.
Due to hectic shooting schedule, Kapil Sharma fainted thrice on the set and he had to be rushed to the hospital. Following which he had to cancel the shoots with the team of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and then ‘Mubarakan’. However, it is strongly buzzed that the show is going off-air. Kiku Sharda who plays the character of Bumper has expressed that the show is going very strong and they will continue to shoot for the coming episodes. Kiku Sharda said, “Kapil’s absence due to his ill-health has fanned stupid speculations. I don’t want to comment and fan all this further. We have started shooting for the coming weekend.”
It is also said that due to falling TRP, the channel is not going to extend his contract with the show. And due to those factors Kapil went into depression. Kiku retorted, “Total rubbish, people are saying anything they feel like.”
It is further said that Kapil is feeling the heat with the launch of the new comedy show, ‘The Drama Company’ launched on the same channel and hosted by Kapil’s arch-rival Krushna Abhishek.
