Suspicious Activity Investigation Update

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau were seeking assistance from the public in relation to a suspicious activity investigation involving two young girls in the City of Brampton.

On Friday, May 10, 2019, at approximately 8:30 a.m., two 10 year-old girls were walking in the area of Chipwood Crescent and Archdekin Drive in the City of Brampton.

While the girls were walking to school, an unknown vehicle pulled up beside them and a male driver in the vehicle tried to call the girls over  to him. The girls ran from the location and reported the incident.

Investigators have identified the vehicle and its occupants and a thorough investigation has determined that no attempted abduction took place.

No criminal charges will be laid in relation to this reported incident.
