Ranbir Kapoor to play dacoit in YRF’s

After ‘Sanju’, Ranbir Kapoor  will be next seen in Yash Raj Films

“Shamshera”. The tagline of the poster reads, ‘Karan Se Dacait, Dharam Se Azaad’. The poster shows a gun hung from Ranbir Kapoor’s shoulder and  he was joined by his full force of dacoit.

Talking about the movie, Ranbir Kapoor shared with media in India, “Shamshera is exactly the film I was looking for. While growing up watching Hindi commercial cinema, I had an image of what a film hero should be doing. Shamshera allows me to do everything that I had imagined and it’s a very exciting project for me. Karan is going to take me completely out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to this challenge.”

“Filmmaker Karan Malhotra is going to take me completely out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to this challenge,” Ranbir said in a statement. ‘Shamshera’ will be helmed by Karan Malhotra and this would be Ranbir’s third collaboration with YRF after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year’. This high-octane action drama will see Ranbir Kapoor doing dare-devil stunts. ‘Shamshera’ is set to go on floors by end of this year and by mid-2019, the film will get wrapped up.
