My life is zero and boring! Nobody should attempt at making a film on my life”, Rishi Kapoor is reported to have said.

But he also added that he is not against being a part of biopic made on someone’s life where he gets to portray the lead role. He reveals, “Let me tell you that I have been approached for a biopic. And it’s very interesting that somebody wants me to agree at this stage of my career to do it. They want to make a biopic on Khushwant Singh with me portraying Singh.”

Rishi Kapoor adds that he was curious with the idea that biopic Is being made on the author, “When I heard about it, I said it sounds good because a lot of people do not know about his earlier life. He had a very daring and colourful life in his younger days. But, they would have to take somebody else to portray his younger version. I can play the ‘fat’ Khushwant Singh, maybe with a little more of padding on my body,” says Kapoor.

Khushwant Singh, who died in 2014, was a renowned author and columnist. He was also a lawyer, diplomat and a member of parliament. But he is best remembered for his literary works, most popular among them perhaps is his book, Train to Pakistan, which was also made into a film in 1998.
