In an attempt to further step up his attack on India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi has called Prime Minister’s fitness video ‘a bizarre’. The Congress chief made the comment while talking to leaders present at the if tar party he hosted in the national capital.
A video of Rahul reacting to Modi’s fitness clip, while the former President Pranab Mukherjee observed silence has gone viral. The Congress chief also asked other leaders if they have seen Modi’s video or not. When Rahul Gandhi turned to CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, he apparently said “Arre bhai, humein toh chhod do!”. (Atleast leave us !)
The Prime Minister earlier posted his fitness video on Twitter which shows him meditating, walking on a track inspired by five elements of nature, and doing yoga. Modi passed on the fitness challenge to Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, table tennis player Manika Batra and IPS officers, especially those above 40 years of age. However, responding to the fitness challenge from Modi, Kumaraswamy said he was more concerned about “developing fitness” of the state and sought his support for it.
