Public Safety Advisory – Seven Firearms Stolen from a Brampton Residence

Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are investigating the theft of seven firearms from a residence in the City of Brampton.
Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., on Friday August 11, 2017, an unknown culprit(s) removed several firearms from the residence. A description of the stolen firearms is -Colt semi-auto, .223 calibre rifle; SKS semi-auto, .760 calibre rifle; Norenko T17 semi-auto, .223 calibre rifle;Glock 9mm semi-auto hand gun; Bond Arms multi-barrel .45 calibre hand gun; Smith & Wesson semi-auto .45 calibre hand gun; Ruger semi-auto .22 calibre hand gun
The investigation is ongoing and as a result we are not able to provide any further information at this time.

Police release images of suspects in sex assault

Toronto police have released security images of two men being sought in connection to an alleged sexual assault and assault at College subway station on Friday, July 21.

Police has said that a couple entered the subway station just after midnight and were approached by a man who allegedly sexually assaulted the 25-year-old woman. The suspect was with two other men, and police say one of them assaulted the woman’s boyfriend when he tried to confront the suspect. The men fled, but two of them were captured by security cameras. Police is seeking assistance of the public in the case.

Additional images released of man wanted in TTC bomb threat

Toronto police have released more images of a man wanted in a TTC bomb threat investigation captured on security cameras.The incident that took place on last Sunday afternoon that led to temporarily shutting down all train lines in all directions at Yonge-Bloor station. The suspect reportedly announced to the people on board a crowded southbound train that he had a bomb and would blow up the train. Police has said that this led to an unsafe evacuation of the train and the man left the station in the midst of the chaotic crowd. The man is considered dangerous and police are asking anyone who sees him to call 9-1-1 immediately and police is seeking assistance if someone has any additional information.
