Just days after reports that Priyanka Chopra has quit the Salman Khan starrer, Bharat, to get married to rumoured beau, Nick Jonas, the latest buzz is that the actor has signed the Hollywood film, Cowboy Ninja Viking with Chris Pratt. As per reports, Priyanka will be the leading lady in Cowboy Ninja Viking, an action drama. The film stars Chris Pratt as a multifaceted assassin, perhaps the title of the film being a dead giveaway.

Google celebrates Meena Kumari’s 85th birth anniversary

On the 85th birth anniversary of yesteryear superstar Meena Kumari, Google on Wednesday dedicated a special doodle to ‘The Tragedy Queen’ featuring her in a red sari.
Born on August 1, 1933, Meena Kumari in her 33 years journey in the Indian cinema starred in about 92 films, including ‘Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam’, ‘Pakeezah’, ‘Mere Apne’, ‘Aarti’, ‘Baiju Bawra’, ‘Parineeta’, ‘Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai’, ‘Foot Path’, ‘Dil Ek Mandir’ and ‘Kaajal’.
Often regarded as a ‘historically incomparable’ actress of the Hindi cinema, Meena Kumari was married to filmmaker and screenwriter Kamal Amrohi.
She passed away on March 31, 1972, due to liver cirrhosis aged 38.

“Getting married is next on my mind,” Bieber

The 24-year-old singer has recently dropped his new track No Brainer with DJ Khaled. As per reports, when a paparazzo spotted Bieber and asked what he has up his sleeves next, the singer said, “Getting married.”

Accidental firing outside Shatrughan Sinha’s house

The constable deployed outside Shatrughan Sinha’s Juhu residence fired a bullet that is being termed as “by mistake”. No one was hurt in the incident.

The constable unintentionally fired a bullet from his service weapon but there was not report of any mishap. The veteran actor and politician stays on the eighth floor of “Ramayana” with his family.

Khloe wanted a son ‘badly’

Television personality and model Khloe Kardashian, who gave birth to a girl earlier this month, says she wanted a son “badly”. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star tweeted, “I wanted a boy so badly because Mason (sister Kourtney’s oldest son) and I are so close. I love our bond. I felt confident in having a boy, but God blessed me with my precious True and now I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy. True has made me sweeter and more gentle. God gives you what you need. (sic)” She also called three-month-old True her “best friend forever, for life.”
