Premier Wynne meets with Indian High Commissioner

Premier Kathleen Wynne met with the High Commissioner of India Mr. Vishnu Prakash earlier today at Queen’s Park. Both spoke about the Ontario’s commitment to growing the Ontario-India bilateral relationship. Premier also expressed Ontario’s gratitude for the positive relationship the Province shares with the Indian High Commission and Consulate General in Toronto.

The Premier and High Commissioner highlighted the contributions of the strong Indian diaspora in Canada. They discussed how to make the relationship between Ontario and India stronger, especially in the areas of sustainable development and smart cities, renewable energy, and education.
